I couldn't leave the house for a few day and was worried about running out of toilet paper.

I'm with you on meeting weirdos but a lot of cities now have internet meet up spots. Obviously you can't pick up a playset like that but it is nice there is the safe option.

No way in the world I would invite strangers to my house to pick up stuff.
I think that is nuts.

Alas! I was not swift enough this time! The fort has been taken by someone else. But I am not discouraged! Stuff like that seems to come up fairly often (though not always free) and now that I have DH on board I can strike faster next time! My chickens shall have their fortress!

Little girl we know picked up a nice overstuffed chair from the side of the road. Only cost 2 bedbug treatments. for the whole apartment. Not worth it unless you know the source. Or put it in the front yard for 6 months.
