Thank you :) . I had one growing up, she was the best dog. Passed away due to lyme disease in her kidneys at 14 years old (I was 12 then). I'd wanted one ever since, and I will always have at least one, preferably 2 :D Getting Ember was the best thing for Ruger, they're the perfect playmates. They just haven't quite figured out farm animals yet, having been "Residential Neighborhood Dogs" until Easter of this year.

Awe. My cat's name is Ruger. I got him to catch and kill all the things that kill my garden. I was hoping his name would be an inspiration or something. He likes to snuggle though and isn't that tough, but he has brought me plenty of voles. He brought one back for me (or maybe for my dog whom he is in love with) live last night and there was quite the excitement with the two dogs and the cat trying to catch the vole together in and out from under the cars in the driveway.

I don't think I know what a vole is.
Not sure they live down here...I will ask Google.:caf

from experience voles are like moles but dig just below the surface and under rotten logs and tarps. They are basically tiny moles
I haven't made it to Google just...I'm not even sure we have moles here.

Let me use a life line and phone a friend.
@RUNuts what are these ole things and do we do them down here in the heat?
