➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

External indications please. Ideal was supposed to check the internal plumbing.
Yellow still is the only one with puffy cheeks. The others are pretty normal.
But I don't see pointed hackle feathers anywhere.
Male EE usually have a significant amount of red on the shoulders or they can be black and white. How old are they?

I must admit that I really like the feather patterns emerging on the EEs. Very involved. So far we have Yellow, Redhead, Mohawk and the triplets with dark heads. Extremely pretty.

@PirateGirl why would a wild bird lay an egg on my sunflower? No, I did not put this egg here.
BUILD AN INCUBATOR NOW!

Yellow just looks yellow. Same basic shape and posture with cheek puffs.
Legs appear the same.
Posture is same. Not taller. They all take turns standing erect, then going normal.

I read in one thread the red on the breast is a tattletale too. Rednecks, but none on the breasts.
Red in the shoulders is male.

3 weeks old! Growing feathers and roaming the tractor. I want to let them in the garden area, but they can get through the 2x3" mesh. Get bigger and get let out.

Yes, I read that about the red. On the shoulders? Hmmm.

Is it a Quail EGG? Ohhh!

Amazing! If I caught a egg sitting on a sunflower, I'd just stand there with my mouth hanging open in shock!:th
