Yep - none with red shoulders.
All the feet are blue or gray. Really didn't have any with yellow feet.

That’s super weird.. and helpful haha! Is that a common thing in chicken genetics? Could you breed that to be a reliable trait? I know very little.I was told my free rooster was an amaracuana -- but realistically he is most likely an Easter Egger. Since we're talking EEs --when my room is crossed with one of my orpington's or sussex, the legs of the hens always turn blue, starting at about 2 weeks. The boys' legs stay yellow. It's a great auto-sexing feature. Also, those hens that inherit a pea comb lay blue-green eggs. Those that inherit a single comb lay brown eggs. Weird, huh?

I’m sure I’ll take a class on it in future vet school. I’ll fill you in if I make an AI keep wanting to start learning genetics stuff but keep getting side tracked.

Hey random question, if I set my privacy settings so that only members can view my profile page, that means guests without an account can’t stalk my posts, right?

Poor thing.@RUNuts I don't know why a bird would lay an egg, but a sunflower is a high up safe spot and certainly easier than building a nest!
I finally planted all my sunflowers!
I got the nerve up to steal eggs from my first broody chicken and still have all my fingers.
I suspect my poor dog had a heart attack or something. She was so terrible so suddenly. She is slowly improving but doesn't want to eat. She can walk again though and seems alert.
My car will be in the shop another week and cost me nearly $1000. Ugh.
I know! I am still trying to understand more about recessive genes.I keep wanting to start learning genetics stuff but keep getting side tracked.
