Shhhhhhhh I am on a total chicken math addiction now. Just need to let this episode run its course while I hide my wallet and then I'll be fine. :oops:

Needed a farm job for that dog. Compared to him, all the others are well behaved. So Crazy Lady won't have another Catahoula.

You could both be describing our Rhodesian Ridgebacks instead of our Catahoula/lab Red.
Red is laid back, loves everybody he senses are safe. His hackles are up and he barks loudly when he senses our hesitation around a stranger. A lover of children, chicks and calves, Red will alert us if one is in trouble, sick or hurting. He loves the baby chicks getting nose to beak with them and lets them hop all over him. Calves get face washes frequently. Bring a chilled newborn into the kitchen and Red lays beside it offering his warmth.
Our girls are more protective, picking me to protect with their bodies between me and any perceived threat. Wary of strangers, they are on guard until introduced. Then they are fine. Lily rarely barks, Ruby alert barks and stops when told "enough".

Is she drinking and peeing?

I used to think that a dog would stop eating before they pass.
I no longer think this because my last doggy that die recently ate his lunch the day he died.
He did eat less for a few days before...but for some reason I though he would completely stop. :confused:
:(
