➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

@Morrigan - How terrible it got so many so quick :( I've been surprised it's only been 1 per day, but perhaps the other free-ranging roos were smart enough to get away after it got one.

Feel bad for Goot, they went everywhere around the yard together. Only reason we kicked them out of the new chicken run we made was because Poot was eating the feathers off the chickens, sometimes picking them up off the ground in the process. We've only had Poot for a week & a half now - it hatched with Goot from a "mix basket" of goose eggs our friend got from auction, she kept it for awhile but it was pulling her turkey's beard and wanting to preen everything in her bird run, and we figured he and Goot would bond. Goot is back in the run with the chickens right now! Definitely want to find what is getting them before it can break into the runs/coops we have.

He scares the crapola out of me.
That is probably why I haven't been to feed him in months!

African Gray ganders are mean and loud. Mine would bite/pinch tender parts of my legs and arms. He attacked our Australian Shepherd causing a hematoma on her neck that became an inoperable tumor. He was mean to the grandchildren...chasing them around the yard. His white Chinese mate was sweet, docile and gentle. She was killed by a coyote. He made a great family dinner....brined and slow roasted.

I kinda stopped going to visit them because this guy is so mean.
I secretly hope his disappears.
I may go pass by tomorrow to see if he is gone so I can return to feeding my ducks.
