➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I suppose it could be the mother, but why didn't she make her nest under the loft where it's protected. It's a mystery to me how those babys survived in the planter - exposed to torrential downpours and days of extreme heat recently!
I don’t think that’s her actual nest. They might be weaning and in an awkward “do I stay or do I go” stage or her nest might’ve been disrupted and she had to relocate babbies.

bout 5 years ago my wife says look a rabbit I wanted to set a trap.
wife says its harmless so stupid me says ok. the next year theirs a mate . you know what happens from their now we have a infestation of rabbits living under our deck. Ive been catching around 5 a day , it don't seem the volume of these rabbits is going down . so 86 that rabbit . I bring all the rabbits I catch to a nice open feild only access 4 wheel drive .I want them to stay far away
Lol sounds like it’s time for rabbit stew. We have lots of rabbits on this property but their population stays in check.

There actually was a nest with pulled fur and stuff. The first bunny popped out coughing and a bit wet when my brother's GF watered the planter.

Guess I better start raking. I have no idea how long it’ll take to build up a 20x60 ft area.

There are leaves, pine needles, and cut grass piles after mowing around the property, I just don’t know how to transport them efficiently over 40 acres by myself.

ETA: nothing is actually piled. That would be too easy. I’m going to have to rake up piles of stuff and somehow wheelbarrow it to the run...
You need a gator or something like it.
Indispensable.
Of course mine is broken (For the 3rd time in a year :().
