No progress on new external pipper, and I can see the beak of the Maran egg opening and closing in the hole. It looks like the other Maran egg may have attempted to pip as well but I can’t tell.

Hi Congrats mama! I've been trying to catch up. I was reading over coffee, then had to drive to work, and during my drive your baby baluttie arrived in this world! This has been an amazing and crazy journey and I'm so happy you are now a crazy incubator lady. He looks just perfect and will certainly get stronger after a nap. Can you keep him close enough to the other egg that they can still hear each other?

Hmm... There were a lot of posts I wanted to comment on. Let me just share a story based on the doggo in diapers... My vet recommended we waited until at least 6 months to have my dog spayed. We were getting close to scheduling when she had her first heat cycle. Related or not my other girl went into heat at the same time (I'm convinced one somehow triggered the other, unexplained miracle of nature or something). The two females were desperately trying to figure out how to make things work *wink wink* for days. It was hilarious. Face to face, butt to butt, face to butt, standing, laying down, OMG, unsettling and hilarious. Needless to say, we called that week to schedule the appointment.

Yes, I too have been awaiting The Man's reaction. I think you should go visit him at the store later and show him the pictures so you can be there in person for his reaction. I know you probably can't film his reaction since you will show the pictures on your phone, but it will be worth it for you to be there. (after the second egg hatches of course)

Look for the phrase "striking American woman" I definitely would have used the word striking, if I know myself .
