She's one of the pack, so I'm sure she can handle whatever crazy I've got in store. Oh & btw I love that idea for the milk Ursuline. I may have to try that.

We don't use much milk here.
If the date is within a day or two of the date on the milk container it gets thrown down the drain.
Often times it will still be sitting in the fridge a day or two after that date and that is when the Mex goes to use it.
Never fails.

I try to stay home with my birds as much as possible.
I go to the town nearby every month or so to stock up at the grocery store
I deliver eggs every month.
I meet a buddy to give him veggies from my garden a couple times a month
I go to the high school to work out a couple times a week.

I'm from Louisiana and trying to learn how these Texas people do things.

Went to Germany with a bunch of 17 year olds. Most had their first drink. Most.

A couple of itty bitty quail eggs is not a lot of food silly.
Rotting milk...might be.
I will do my best to save the rotting milk from now on.


I don't buy gallons of milk no...only the half gallon size so I don't really waste a lot of milk.

Well turns out the hen I thought was trying to go broody has plucked her feathers. I wonder if I can give her the chicks I swear, the people who would die for a broody never get one and those who don’t want them have all their hens go broody.

Btw I decided on my way back from discarding Adeline's body it was absolutely necessary that this Friday's mommy drink (my Friday night tradition)be extra strong so I went through a drive through and got me a Long Island iced tea. So thankful I'm in Louisiana right now where drive through mixed drinks are a thing. I need this tonight. I CANNOT believe how much this affected me.

I’ll try it tonight if I still see her in the box. She’s our most dominant and favorite hen so I’d have no troubles with her having them. I guess those people are getting Maran and Brahma crosses only.
