➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I like the avi @Ursuline Chick. Very Louisiana! Those young gators have absolutely no fear and will swim right up to you won't they? One scared the mess out of my girls one day. I swear he was trying to come on the bank with us. I had to throw things at him and make myself look big and loud to finally deter him. Anyhoo, have fun with the grand tonight!

THE SITE IS CURED.
For me anyway. Hopefully for all y’all too.

I had a similar nickname in highschool.
Kidding, I was a loner nerd. *sniff*

That is hilarious lmfao.
Out of curiosity, would you still do business with/through him if people bought the ducks for meat? Or would you only want to sell them as pets?

There is plenty enough fur for EVERYONE to bury their face, trust me.

I'm not bothered by people eating duck.

Do any of you keep the tiny little button quail? When I'm done with school and have more time to figure them out I may set up a small aviary with some. I just love those tiny chicks and all the colors they can be. I wonder how little the eggs are.

When I'm making a big batch of scrambled eggs, I figure 3-4 quail eggs per 1 chicken egg.

Once I cross the lake this afternoon, I have no cable access, as DS an DIL are saving for a house and decided that they want a house more than cable. I say, good for them, will be back tomorrow. I am sure I will have 100 pages to catch up on. Will keep checking in until we leave.
You must now abbreviate with an extra D for DIL! DDIL= Da daughter in law

Just for the record. I'm not THAT podunk :lau. I just don't have a lot of exotic ingredients readily available at the local markets. lol. But I'm only around two hrs from New Orleans, Baton Rouge, lake Charles & Jackson ms. And we try to go as much as possible. Our picky kids do hinder us from eating out at MANY places though. :barnie

That's just about my coordinates except 45min ish from nola
