Some grocery store eggs are fertile....I think people have reported success with Trader Joe eggs...

Nutty was saying there is on on the other side of town...I am glad it is over there.
Other side of town means an hour plus depending on the time of day and I am not that broody.

View attachment 1470937 I'm not big into cooking since I hate the grocery store. (Maybe that will change if a store near me starts up online ordering). For tonight I was content to have breakfast for dinner. French toast made with eggs from my chickens and our family's maple syrup.

I’ve got bad news.

I went to check on the broody hen and all four eggs were gone. Nothing left of them, and she did not have a single chick with her.

I’m done with broodies. This is ridiculous
