➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Because I was asked...here are a few photos of artwork.
3D is 3 dimensional art...sculpture, pottery, as opposed to flat work like drawings or paintings which are 2D.
My Marlboro Man, pottery - handbuilt and wheel thrown, a Dying Swan ballerina, and a lifesize head.
The sculpture and pottery is stoneware clay. The red burnished pot is Oklahoma red clay.

And some 2D - an acrylic painting and three graphite drawings. The 28 X 35 inch painting of "Hoare Frost" was from an old calendar. The owl was from a photo and the portraits are my daughter and an old friend before she died... Una Alice was 90 when this 18" x 24" portrait was done from a photo. That was over 35 years ago.

On pencil work/graphite I always told my students to try to get at least 10 values or shades ranging from black to white. And a sharp eraser is a great drawing tool for removing thin wisps of hair and feather.

:highfive:

Busy day yesterday! We had a party for my SIL yesterday and i've been up ALLLL night with my sick 3 year old :barnie. I cleaned up so much puke and it grossed me out so bad that I threw up too, which makes me pee my pants (as does EVERYTHING such as jumping, running, coughing without crossing my legs, laughing without crossing my legs...I was fine for before having 3 kids, I swear) so then i'm cleaning up my own vomit and having to shower us both off. Then I realize that I missed another puke pile and start all over again:sick.

That all being said... can someone please give me a recap??
Oh my goodness! That sounds like quite a night.
The recap would probably be full of ages and age quizzes, art people and their obsession with anime, furries, scars, and scary stories on how you got those scars.

Not sad I missed out on the anime/furries conversations! Ok... maybe a little:lau

Hey, random question. Does anyone have any good quality rooster pictures that they wouldn’t mind being drawn? Particularly a “regal” looking headshot?
I’m trying to avoid google pictures if possible (paranoid about copyright nuttiness).

Yikes! Must be going around, my 9 year old threw up in the middle of the night in the only sink in the house that doesn’t drain properly.... Hours of fun this morning.

How in the world are you going to clean that?
Vacuum maybe?

Well, tried several rounds of draino, several pairs of gloves for scooping and finally the grand finale of using the snake that took hours to find! It drained and the next puke fiasco clean up belongs to da bf!
