As much as I LOVE high altitudes, I had my first real sunburn AND first asthma attack on the same hiking trail in Colorado. Definitely not as much of an issue in muggy sea-level Houston.

I like mountain tops, especially in summer. The breeze and cool temperatures make me happy again.

It is 108° up here today in DFW, last Wednesday it was 114° in the shade. But we must be having a cold front coming in, it's supposed to be 98° on Saturday!

We don't have AC, no one really does. We haven't been able to keep the windows open though due to wildfire smoke. Ugh. I long for the night breeze to be inside my house!

PS I tried my cheesecake brownies I will definitely bake them again.

Oh and @KikisGirls i just keep hoping the chickens will go to roost soon so I can spritz them easily! There are far less mites around than a few days ago. I also made the girls a wood ash dust bath in a kitty litter pan. They were thrilled. I think one in particular has been quite itchy.

I prefer below sea level.

It's so different! I prefer my Oxygen rich as well, right at sea level though I would give it up for my cabin in the mountains. With snow. And "Welcome, Kiki" signs everywhere...

I’m hoping I can draw something tomorrow when hubby finally goes back to work. Someone kick my butt if I don’t.

The Ginger and I have thoroughly planned this out already. We’re going to be leaving certain siblings parentless but.. I’m sure they’ll figure it out.

Could we cyber kick each other's butts if we lag too long? Maybe some taunting of sorts?
