Also, yes. I get super excited to find new eggs with pretty colors! Lucille II on the left and Lucille on the right. It was Lucille's first egg - it is green!

Are they both from EE? Both my hatchery EE lay the exact shade of green. My blue egg comes from my splash ameraucauna I got from a breeder.

Yep! Both EE girls. I have had four EE hens ever. Two pale sky blue layers and two green layers. I love the splash birds! So pretty. I covet them.

I hoped so bad mine would have variety, but nope. Their eggs are the identical shade and shape. I can only tell them apart the larger hen's egg is usually larger. My splash's feather patterns pretty. White with tons of dark blue and grey patches all over but, God bless her ugly face. She's got that hawky EE/Ameraucana face but without nearly the pretty beard my EE girls have. I have two birds from this breeder, the one if my profile pic and the splash. Neither have nice pretty beards tho, but they are consistent layers and not to mention one is a wonderful mother hen. I do love that my splash's egg is so blue too. Not a trace of green in it.

Of the previous two, only one was fully muffed and bearded. The other had that hawkish look you speak of without the nice poofs.

This is so sad... it's either Angel or Lillie... I only got to name like one bird and that's my white EE Winnifred, aka Winnie. The kids named everyone else and they are awful names except the other EE, Magnolia, aka Maggie. We have Layla, Darlynn (my oldest girls very southern take on darling) Angel, Lillie (I get these two mixed up and the girls have to set me straight), Aurora (can you guess who she's named after?), Peanut, Zoe Zebra (British pronunciation from peppa pig compliments of my nephew), Lucky-the sole survivor of the hatch, Cleo (I named her I forgot), Charlette, Cookie & Dot. I THINK Lillie is the splash girl. So how did you end up with two Lucilles? I have to know! That was my grandmothers name btw!
