➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

30°C = 86°F

While chicks may do fine at 85°F for you, it may be too cool for quail.

I have the guinea keets with their heat source set for 95°F and that is where they are staying. They are so much smaller than chicks and poults they need the extra heat.

My brooder is set so the keets can freely go from the warm area to the cooler area. The feed and water is in the cool area.
I'm going to see what happens. Don't worry I won't let the freeze.
I'll be right here next to them non stop for the next few days.

Thank you!! :)

I could not move from my incubator when I saw an external pip.
I'm not moving. :celebrate

I'm keeping watch for pips.
I have a feeling they will pop out as soon as I run to pee....so I'm holding it.

I think I might have a couple little bitties tonight!

Is 35c better?

35 is about 95.
Argh. I really don't want it that hot but....it is that hot outside so....I guess it's going to be ok.
Because it will have to be ok very soon. I am not keeping them inside long.
