➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

@KikisGirls i use a mama heating pad for my chicks and it worked great but I tried it twice for the quail and even checking on them and tucking them back in at night I would come out in the morning and find cold stiff chicks strewn around the brooder. I was able to save most of them by turning on my red heat lamp but I did lose a few. I don’t know if your setup will work better than a mHP cave but they just couldn’t seem to figure it out and really needed the heat.

I don't want a cave...I want to be able to see all of them at all times.
I am going to leave the heating pad on half of the floor and up the side if the container. I think it will work fine. Should the babies start fussing too much I'll make changes.


I change my mind every ten minutes so no telling how this is going to go.
