But I am very, very determined.
I guess if I were to go to Purdue or some college even closer to a certain town in Iowa I could take the 60acres of family land currently up for grabs

Are lamanchas the little eared ones? I think those are on my "when I get a homestead" list.

They are Dark Brahmas yes. We only have Light Brahmas right now being crossed over our Splash Australorp to introduce the blue into breeding. If you could get ahold of a partridge or blue partridge they usually cross well with Darks.
