➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Hey guys I have a chicken health question for y'all.
Will B12 vitamins help to correct leg paralysis/loss of leg function in an immature chicken? 4 months to be precise. Or is there something else I can try?

Additionally, I just witnessed my cockerel mating her even though she is way too young. Could this be the cause of her leg issues? She is now separated.

She has eaten 2 Tbsp of hardboiled egg w/oregano and birdseed.

*starting to think about not going to college*
I understand that it is a challenge. I knew that from the beginning. But I am struggling with high school and I don't know if it's the teachers or me.
Just know Cypruss, that your experiences as a high school student do not necessarily predict you college experience. You may struggle with one, but be great at the other. I started college at 20 with nothing but a GED and a can-do attitude (get it Banty?)... and now I have a BA, MA, and am halfway to a PhD.
So yeah, college can be challenging, but that doesn't mean you won't be great at it :hugs

I'll reiterate sounds like mereks that's the right age too for it more likely than not to be it

Yes, I understand. :(
But no other bird on my property is having this problem. And what is peculiar is her biological mother died of the same thing. Could this be genetic?
I'm not fully convinced it is Marek's. I can move her leg myself, her other leg is painful below the hock and her leg does not always stick straight out in front of her.
I am not denouncing you and your knowledge but Marek's always seems to be the go to answer for a lot of things and I want to rule at as many other ailments as possible before accepting that diagnosis.

If it matters, she was hatched on my property and has never been to the property that housed her parents.

Ok

It's a goto answer cause that's what it does lol

View attachment 1516163 The Anyone like da fishes? Cleaned my aquarium last night so thought I'd share. Doors are off setup bc they're getting a makeover, and one light is out of the right side of the tank.:th But most of these fish in this aquarium are at least 4 years old. Some older than that. The tank decor gets tweaked and changed on the reg but these fish have been with us for so long! Can fish be like family?
Yes! Nice tank. I had a 110g marine aquarium before we moved out here. Lots of work but I still miss it occasionally. Can't find any established pics, this was early on. All my pics got dumped into a single folder when I bought my new laptop. :( Babynem.jpg DSC_0001 (14).jpg

They didn't want a photo shoot. They wanted love. Poor deprived animals. HAH! New puppy and the old man. Grey muzzle and all.

Motivation is also different. Some view High School as unwanted and unnecessary. Attitude goes a long way.

Wow! How scary. Sadly some people would put a dog down for that, label it "aggressive" or whatever. Heck, even I would be tempted to at least rehome it
Aggressive, no. He was in full play mode. Pits and boxers are also enthusiastic players. Lots of fun IF you know what to expect and can handle them. This was our fault. He was playing. No malice at all.

They are predators and so much natural instinct is there. I hope I have conveyed to them the chickens are "mine". The puppy will charge the fence and flush the flock. Working on her. The others only "hunt" the chickens occasionally. I've been discouraging them. Good fences make good neighbors has a new meaning.

You did say that you are IB right? From what I understand, IB tends to over complicate things. I had plenty of friends that were in the IB program that have told me the horrors of IB and the ridiculousness that is the program.
