Oh it sounds painful. I will check it out. I like to take the little weak or hurt ones home and give them a chance. Been given a few chicks this way at TSC and my local feed store including a partridge silkie that ended up being a roo but he turned out stunning and I was able to sell him after he grew up. Talk about a win win, right?

Indeed! I try to give everyone a chance here, too which is why I worked so hard at getting nutrients into my last chick every 2-4 hours.

Mix it with a little feed. Half a spoon full.
I buy mine at Kroger's grocery store. My quail have been getting it 3 it 4 days a week since hatch.
