Is the possible mareks situation something you should let him know? I'm honestly just asking. I mean you were upset with him for not telling you the age of the eggs (which he may not have thought was a big deal bc obviously several people hatch eggs that old) and you're sending chicks back to his when you might have mareks on your property. Same property right? Don't hate me Cy I'm just thinking here. It just seems like something he may want to know.

He already knows I am having issues. He doesn't know it might be Marek's but I don't even want to let the name slip because then everyone will flip even though it is not confirmed.

I always wanted to try the old school mange recipe of burnt motor oil with powdered sulphur mixed in. I bet it would work. And yes I'd rub them down with burnt motor oil

I think that Petroleum Jelly slathered on for over 6mo straight does the job.

past couple days of comments in regards to this and lying to him to keep more isn't working for your integrity of a future breeder.

I think that's the depluming mite, but I think treatment is the same.

Isn't gasoline another of those "old school" cures for leg mites? Not saying I would try it, just curious if anyone else had heard that.
