Some bad and sad news: I can tell Lindi is fading out. I can just see it. She is a limp noodle and spasmed after being fed
As a result of the spasm she brought up some formula and was starting to aspirate. I VERY RAPIDLY cleared her mouth, esophogus, and as much of the Trachea as I could. After that she flipped a kazillion times and went blue twice. Both times I gave her mouth to mouth. She now has a clear windpipe and is breathing on her own but is otherwise unresponsive. I am expecting her to pass tonight. She is in a small box, head elevated, in a comfortable, warm and dark room.
I have made the decision to put her down tomorrow if she makes it through the night because her quality of life is very poor and I believe her to be suffering.
She will be sent in for a necropsy. If she has Marek's our flocks will be liquidated, our place cleaned with Virkon S and we will start over next year. Hopefully the Virkon S and harsh winter will kill the virus enough.
I'm gonna cry
