Ah, yes. I think I missed most of the dog thing on here. I think I'd not enjoy 25 hours in the car with an aussie pup.

Nah, I'm not sure we ever really had a discussion, I've just been posting about dogs a lot today and yesterday

I've been doing a lot of research on breeders lol have several in mind.

But yeah, idk how fun it'd be. But maybe they would be sleeping most of the time since they're so young? Although of course it'd be frequent bathroom breaks lol but I wouldn't drive that straight through. Probably extend it to at least a few days or a week each way, maybe stop and visit family along the way.

Final check in for the night:
Lindi is sound asleep breathing perfectly. She seems to be doing alright.
We are going to bring in the people to blood test our flock and put off euthanasia with Lindi so they can get a live sample from her.

I am probably not a good example of ethics I am aware but I am so against euthanizing an animal with even a slimmer of a chance of recovery.

I wonder how many people I am pissing off with this case...

Hang on! First thing tomorrow. I found the darkness to seem friendly in the song, rather than the enemy some others thought of it as. I like the song because to me it flipped the traditional light = good dark = bad thing we have going. It gives me extremely specific mental images.

I respect you totally Cy. Especially with trying to save lindi if you feel it's right and believe she's got a chance. I definitely want updates. I DO think that you should hold off bringing in or sending out chicks until you know what your dealing with but I've already voiced that and it sounds like you're working on that now anyway. Seriously crossing my fingers that Lindi pulls through. It'd be amazing!

I understand the concern with the chicks fully but am set up to be hatching for someone else so I do not know what to do with that. I think I will end up having to tell the supplier about the potential risk for disease and let them decide if they still want to bring the chicks back.
