➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Oh no I missed this post.

I am sorry.
:hugs
Don't know if it was the storm or my hurricane PTSD, but they were crowing their heads off Tuesday morning. Had hardly crowed at all before. DH and I had to go to work, so couldn't stay outside and try to keep them calm and was afraid a**wipe neighbor would report us while we were at work and DD would have to deal with it alone. Last time she reported me it was Good Friday (years ago), I thought that was a "nice" touch and spoke volumes for what kind of person she is. Sadly it was easier to cull them than to leave DD to deal with the problem. I have teased about them making good chicken and dumplings, but I am not sure I could eat it. They were the best 3 of the 6 cockerels and I was still hoping to rehome them. At least they had a nice if short life.

Stay calm and don't over think it.
Relax.
Do some breath of fire things before the test.
(pant like a very hot dog through your nose...not your mouth)
Where do you live, I taught a friend's daughter to drive in 1 day and she passed. ( it was kind of an emergency situation that she had to be able to drive like yesterday)

What a great way to learn! Having a mentor right beside you to teach you as you go. I wish! My maw maw (I called her) told me all about her chickens and how she loved taking care of her "dominickers" but by the time I was around she was too sick to keep them anymore. BYC has been my mentor from the get go.
yeah gamefowl keepers are portrayed as illicit drug dealing gamblers which could not be further from the truth. They're blue collar working folks that take care of their family are there for their kids and usually have been keeping them for generations long passing down to each generation the blood line they keep and refined for the next generation to take the helm and pass it down. Alot of people don't understand the culture and to want to make them illegal to even own is real easy to say if you don't know or care but to some people they are their lives it's what they do they raise their chickens and they look forward to teaching anyone that will listen. I don't know how many people absolutely love looking at mine in person or in pics saying how beautiful they are and when I tell them what they are it's like they do a 180 just cause of a stigma and it's not fair to them. Same with pitbulls just cause you have them don't mean you fight them. I'll give a real example about 5 or 6 yrs ago a man by me was raided and the powers to be confiscated 700 chickens approx 400 roosters all game chickens it was on the news they even said how nice and clean the farm was and how healthy the birds were. they said they seized them to rescue. THEN after a couple days couldn't handle the number and EUTHANIZED every single one. Now what kind of **** is that. Seized for a "better life" then killed by the same people. Anyway I digress

The white ones are stunning!
Street Food is one of the two white ones with the color on their back.
Not sure I will ever figure out which one though.
One's back color is lighter than the other though.
