The first two definitely have to be girls, and the last one gives girl-vibes to me too. Are the boys starting to get rowdy at all?

OMG Kiki, they are just so adorable! I the white ones. Then again I luv white fluffy chickens. And I have a white fluffy cat I adore, and never got over the one I lost. Hmm...a shrink would probably have a field day with me.
Anyway, keep the pics and info coming. I've never even seen a quail IRL.

I should have gotten quail a long time ago.
They are like mini fake chickens.

No. Nothing. No bad behavior or noises.
Today makes them one whole month old.

They’re getting close to being mature already! So different than chickens LOL.

Our 18 week old pullets don’t even look remotely close to laying. Well the Australorps do but they have looked like that for over two weeks now so I’m starting to think they’re just psyching is out. All of our hens except Psycho Killer have stopped laying, and both ducks are “broody” but laying.

I did the same. Is her’s an auto-turn off like mine was? Cause that was a pain in the behind so if she managed to work with that all the way to hatching with duck eggs then...

Those quail are really beautiful. Fantastic pictures. Are they going to be just egg quails? Or meat quails too?

Speaking of meat birds, my huddle box worked perfectly. They all emerged this morning, so no one got squished. No distress peeping in the night. And NO HEAT LAMP in the brooder.

These quail are for meat. Once they start laying I will work on figuring out how I am going to keep the cycle going.

I plan to continue hatching non stop.

I just haven't figured how how yet.
