I should have gotten quail a long time ago.OMG Kiki, they are just so adorable! Ithe white ones. Then again I luv white fluffy chickens. And I have a white fluffy cat I adore, and never got over the one I lost. Hmm...a shrink would probably have a field day with me.

Woot for the meat box babies!Those quail are really beautiful. Fantastic pictures. Are they going to be just egg quails? Or meat quails too?
Speaking of meat birds, my huddle box worked perfectly. They all emerged this morning, so no one got squished. No distress peeping in the night. And NO HEAT LAMP in the brooder.![]()
