AAARRGHH!!!! I am so annoyed right now.

So the button quail eggs have been in the incubator for over a week now, and I finally got a decent light to candle with. Last night around midnight I candled the eggs and removed 12 clears from the shipped and 1 clear from my buttons. The other 5 eggs from my buttons looked really dark compared to the shipped eggs and there was an oddness to the air cell zone, but since I haven't candled a ton I was just looking for clears to remove and ignored what the dark shapes looked like.

I go to check on them this morning and there are five babies running around the incubator... apparently the button quail hen I thought was ignoring her eggs was actually sitting on them. I have been turning these eggs at least twice a day and didn't add ANY humidity and the little suckers hatch just fine. But when I fuss over them and try to do everything "right" I lose a bunch of them DIS. I am annoyed that I feel annoyed that they hatched perfectly.

I got a brooder set up and moved the babies, all of them seem to be doing well, no leg issues and they immediately knew how to eat and drink. There are two yellow/gray ones which should feather out silver, one stripey one, and two that have dark backs and lighter heads.

Two of the babies were just sitting in the egg cups. They didn't start in this row, so not sure how they moved from two rows over to the top row.

Both yellow/silver chicks and one of the dark back/light head chicks. One of the yellow/silver chicks is lighter than the other. Not sure if that means it will be a lighter silver when it feathers out, or if it will be white with some black feathers. I did have one of those before but I can't remember the cross that made it.
