They had to! It looks like the real thing.Amazing quality Dalek replica too. I wonder if they stole one off set, lol?
It’s crazy! I joked back in June that since our pond was so dry it had giant cracks in it that we’d be flooded in September. Apparently I need to start making jokes about winning the lottery!
Talk about ducky weather.
I think 4 maybe 5. Only one male. How many are you going to keep for eggs?
You crack me up!
FSIL sent these earlier this afternoon, forgot to post. It's 4:10 right now. You can see the time on the thing lol

They sounds nuts.Yo, Bond - I must tell you. Those Manchurian pheasants of mine are completely insane. I openly admit that I was not prepared for the violence. The two cocks started fighting one night, pretty late, and I ran down to the pen thinking something was trying to get at them. They had killed a hen and the remaining four birds were bleeding and exhausted. I opened the pen, grabbed the dead hen and cock number one shot out over my head. Good riddance. I made a decision to offer them to the wildlife of the region and left the door to the pen open. Later that night, heard a thump. Hen lands on the deck. She stays the night there. In the morning, she takes off to the North. The nicer looking cock and one hen just stayed in the pen. They refused to leave so I shut them back in.
Later that day, I get home from work and there's the hen that took off trying to get back in to the garden where the pen is. I open the gate and she walks right in. Trio secured.
The next night, jerk wad shows up and starts trying to attack my lovely cowardly male through the hardware cloth. Coward hides in the corner. Jerk wad is caught and dispatched. I now have a peaceful trio that seem to like their pen just fine. I think I will still offer them release once they are mature.
I had no idea how crazy pheasants could be. I had heard, but didn't realize the extent. They are gorgeous birds, but I think I'll stick with chickens and ducks for awhile!
My hat is off to you for your pheasant raising!
Of course you can. You are the hatching Momma. Thanks but I can't take much credit.
