I feel sorry for all those meat birds that were dumped. The best case scenario would be for them to go to responsible people who would either raise them ethically for food, or could know what care they need to maximize their life span. I've heard of cornish cross living for over a year, so it can be done. They are actually very sweet birds.

I have always found with cages, hutches, and coops. If I want one, I build 2, if I want 2, I build 4. The extras always get used and it’s always easier doing them “assembly line” than one at a time.

Well, after seeing the rabbits I mentioned, I want rabbits again lol or quail. And actually, originally I was looking for a rabbit on Craigslist but of course hutches pop up too and I thought that one was really nice.

I know do you think the steroid made him have to go more?

Yes steroids make them super thirsty and hungry thus making them have to go potty more often. You'll have to adjust the frequency of how often to take them out to compensate. My previous pug had Addison's disease and she was maintained with steroids for the last 6 years of her life. She had a few accidents at first until we learned her new schedule.

Btw the person in question said something really rude to me on FB messenger but even before that was constantly asking for rides and money and s*** so I've been wanting to cut them out anyway but always felt bad about doing so so this is honestly one of the best things to happen haha but I do want to know if there is more than one way to interpret it but I really do not think so and am over it/glad they did that

Life is too short to put up with toxic people. It's hard to do, but you're better off learning this lesson young. These kinds of people are really good at making you seem like the bad guy in these situations.
