➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

That is entirely too much cuteness.

I know!!! I wanted an Angora rabbit so bad after seeing these videos... and then I watched a video of what all a woman had to do to dry and brush out one and you have to shear them every so often and my dogs wouldn't get along with it (they'd think it was a living toy for them to kill) so.... yeah. Not the right pet for me. But man oh man are they freaking cute as all get out! They really are bunny-dogs like a Flemish Giant but with more hyperness.

Coop progress :D

I can't speak for every medical institution but the standard of care is to change an IV site (peripheral like yours) every 72 hours or obviously with any kind of infiltration. Some leakage of blood is normal but if it was actively leaking with the IV infusion....time to change!!! I'm sorry you went through that Tess. It's a scenario like that, that gives us nurses a bad rep. :hit
Oh I totally agree, and I don’t envy the poor nurse(s) who had to monitor me during every seizure. The crazy bruising and soreness was totally understandable, but the infection and fever didn’t fly with us. Ah well.
Don’t worry, I have mad respect for nurses!
