I think there's a thread about the nose bump, if I recall correctly the consensus was the bird probably bumped his upper beak area on something hard so a bump formed.
Thanks guys!Sometimes they have those growths...doesn't seem to bother them and I don't think it's like a cancerous growth. I think but don't know for sure, that they seem to appear on those that got pecked when they were just hatched and for a couple of weeks of age.
I've noticed it on my pheasant chicks and it becomes very pronounced if it is bleeding from the pecking, kinda like scar tissue! That's just my observation, I don't know with absolute certainty.
I just noticed it this morning.
I was thinking a bruise like thing but wasn't sure.
I am going to look back through my million pictures and see if it has been there or if it is new.
