➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

He doesn't get treats.
Complete feed only.

Could use his kibble then if he likes it enough. Although a little meat is healthy and good for him and not fattening like treats :p I know little dogs gain weight easily. But could boil him up some chicken. Or some of your quail :lau

But if you are really against any extras, use his kibble if he eats it.

Do you want him?

I'm kidding.

Lol if you ever wanna get rid of him :p

Hey, did anyone catch the latest episode of Bob's Burgers? There is a chicken in it! :D They did a good job cartooning the coop and chicken behavior. :lau

Lol I saw one a couple weeks ago when they first were given it lol

Good Morning PEEPS! :frow:frow:frow
Took the girls to the vet yesterday.
Lily is now over her false pregnancy and mild mastitis infection. Her surgery is set for Tuesday. She weighs 77 pounds now. :celebrate
Ruby had a lump under her right shoulder/chest from a running roll over Red on Friday during rough play. She kept licking at the area. I thought it was a bruise. I put Absorbine vet gel on it from the beginning and then started her on antibiotics on Saturday. Turned out she had hyper-extended the joint area and developed a blood pocket that opened as the vet checked it. Shots, antibiotics for the next 10 days. Ruby now weighs 114 pounds up from the 85 when we adopted her! She will be on a restricted diet now...goal weight is 90 pounds.

The ducks are loving the muddy garden from all the rain and more rain is coming tonight. :barnie
We are busy welding caps on pipe fence posts for the new sorting pens and I'm still putting stuff back together in the sewing room.

The broody hen's have hatched two more clutches and another hen has gone broody. They are sure cute.:jumpy:jumpy

Here is a pic of my muppet. This Silkie is going to have one of those huge combs. Look at his wittle wattles! He is definitely top dog and he likes to keep reminding Elvis about it. Nothing violent at this point. Just pecking and posturing. I haven't come up with an official name yet that my DH and I can agree on. Just looking at him, it just reminded me of like someone that would wear a headband and the top of their hair is puffed up above it. A male rocker. And the first vision I had of that was Jimmy Hendrix and I can't shake the image. So I said how about Hendrix? He said no. I can't see myself calling a chicken Jimmy. So that's a no. I wonder if he'll agree to Jimbo? I'll ask him today when I talk to him.

Any name guesses? I'm open to suggestions.
