Do your local friends like to borrow stuff from your room?

I have had many that wanted to make something...I just tell them to come and we'll make it. I always loved art and crafts but grew up in an incredibly poor family, I would save till I had enough to buy just enough for a project. My goal was that if I ever got inspiration I would already have what was needed and not have to wait till someday...

How does one dispatched a rabbit? I don't know.

I grew up on rabbit. Butchered at 8 weeks. Cracked them over the head, throat slit and hung within 20 seconds. Very quick. They are super delicious and the easiest animal in the world to skin and gut.
It's just that, you know... they're bunnies.

When our boys were young, we bought 6 rabbits from a breeder. I did mine as they watched, then skinned and gutted. Then each kid did theirs, also 2 of our friends kids did one too. Then i butchered them all and had a big dinner of rabbit cacciatore...they were yummy. For inquiring minds 5 had necks snapped, 1 was shot with a 22. Neck was mutch better method says the 9 year old who choose the 22.

For a moment there I was worried you butchered the kids.

I don't want to make anyone sick so I need to be sure it's ok or not.

I would be more concerned with possible freezer burn than food poisoning.

Top or back of the head? I'm starting to actually consider raising meat buns but I don't know if I could do it. They've always been pets to me. Like dogs.

I stayed up till 5 am trying to idiot proof my quail setup. Going on vacation this weekend and I'm worried they might be too much for my house sitter to deal with. I'm so tired right now, only napped for about 2 hours before having to get up for work.

On the plus side I was able to add gravity fed water cups to 7 cages. Ran out of materials and time to do the rest.

I missed this post last night.
