➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Went back and caught this....
Awesome so I could just stick some rods in a piece of wood instead of welding them to a plate thing. This is great!

You sure can. Just make sure they are strong.

Be sure to drill holes in the wood first before driving the rods into the post...you don't want to split your post.

Funny.
Went from a 3 digit to 4 digit to 7 then 8.
Now we have speed dial and are at 1 button. Don't even need to hit "go" anymore. Nor remember numbers. Name and go. Done. Ba-da-boom.

OTOH, we now have 30 minutes of voice recordings trying to find someone to talk to and then they hang up on you! Or "mail box is full, please waste another 30 minutes of your life later, piss off!"

I've bought Amish butter in a 10 lb roll before. I could probably eat that straight. Yum!
Kerrygold Irish butter didn't come in stock for the longest time and even now the block is easier to find.
I have actually made my own butter. It's actually quite easy. Put whipping cream in a jar and shake. And shake. And shake some more. Add salt or other seasonings if you wish, then keep shaking. You get buttermilk out of the deal too :)

I don't like anything grape flavored. I blame my mother dosing us kids with Diamatap medicine at the slightest sign of a shiffle. I don't care for banana flavored things either. Or Dr. Pepper, it's like drinking bubblegum.:sick
I think the grossest thing I had as a kid was grape licorice. My mom gave it to us all the time. :sick

Can't stay inside on a farm. We have been out several times already.
When we go out with the dogs, we take care of small tasks...fed the cow and calf their cubes, then the hen house.
Another trip included opening up the duck coop and their gate into the garden. Lily had to play in the snow...it is her first snow....so fun to watch her.
Next trip out will check the cows on the hill because one is ready to pop a calf.

Either buy the tp or suffer phone book pages.
Phone books don't exist around here anymore.
