➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Arrested Development. A wonderful show. At least the first three, original, seasons.
I think I looked that one up a while back but just couldn't try it. Maybe I'll look it up again. It's not like Dr Who right?

They are really so adorable, I know I said I would never do ducklings again but... I forgot how fun they are! Brooder is never ever clean, but we also made a makeshift water-catcher so they don’t soak everything.

Have they shot poop 5 feet up the wall yet? :lau

No. Nothing but water for 7 full days. She even rented a hotel room to lock herself in so she wouldn't be tempted to cheat. The more I think About it the more I am sure I just can't go back to the class. I just can't do real life nutty people.

Nutty.

Wait, wait WAIT 20 WEEKS. My two hatched hens, and annoying cockerel are already 20 weeks??? I’ve lost track of so much!

The multicolored is a black Swedish and I’m pretty sure he’s a drake. The other could be that too or Cayuga. We aren’t too sure!

Black Swedish should only be black and white. Drake could have green head.

Probably for the best... I will beat someone with a 10 foot pole if they try to deprive me of my precious beer.

:highfive: big heavy pole!

Good news to hear! I was hoping it was, since it was the only all black duckling they had.
My little lady ducklings all had that light yellow chest too. My couple little drakes did not. I had great odds with the ducklings the last couple hatches. I always popped them under a chicken, with 100% hatch rate (where viable) and almost all girls, every time. The first group of 8 had two drakes and the second group of seven had only one. I hope I'm so lucky this spring. Not counting on it.

I meant multi colored as in black, yellow and white wing tips with marbled black and pink legs/feet. :) He’s so big already I think that’s why I have been thinking boy.
