The teeth nightmare thing is real! Every now and then I will have a horrible nightmare about them either crumbling or breaking off leaving shards in my mouth. I don't dream of eating them. YET.

I came home to a new layer! A first egg from our 21 week old EE! I could have sworn that one was a cockerel for the longest time then I realized 18 weeks had passed and it was all female-type feathers.

How exciting! I can't wait until my chicks get here and get old enough to lay pretty colored eggs like that one! And is that Boomer? Is he still doing good? No more eye problems?

Hurray! My final legbar finally started laying at the beginning of January. Eight months old! They are very pretty eggs though.

That lovely pale sky blue. Are legbars good layers, in general?

Whenever she wanted it. My Dad got really offended because he asked her who she would rescue if he and the dog were hanging off the edge of a cliff and she had to think about it. She said that the dogs don't have hands to climb up, but he could.

It's usually super realistic too. The sense of relief after waking up is incredible.
