You need to find a job that involves researching stuff.
Besides being stress, she may be hot. She has been used to outdoors. Inside is much warmer.Ok. I have a question for those that have treated bumblefoot in chickens. Is this panting normal or should we be concerned? We looked at her feet this morn. Cleaned them, changed the bandage and they looked really good so far. My hubby is concerned about the panting tho. What say y’all?
I would not put her outside either. Yucky mud isn't good for open wounds. The only reason I was concerned about putting her out there is because it’s been raining all day long and I was worried about the wet and mud and poop getting to it. I am over thinking it?
Do something easy to finish quickly...fold clothes, dust your room.that first part made me laugh. But okay, I will. But it’s 9pm here. Not really sure what I should be doing at 9 at night??
I won’t. I actually don’t use any other sites besides BYC lol only thing I do is the apps like Twitter and Facebook but I won’t use those either. I will just put the phone away.
you are always young enough to get on trakThanks. Kinda feeling like that now though lol after really thinking about how truly little I have actually accomplished and how old I am and considering my little brother went to MIT and my other brother has had a good geology job basically since he graduated and now he’s getting his PhD also at MIT through a joint program where he works. Then there’s me who graduated high school in 2012 and went to college immediately after for a year and almost one semester before dropping out 2 weeks before the semester ended that second year cause I was failing all my classes and doing piss poor mentally. Then I took my sweet ass time getting a two year degree at a community college (it’s a great one with great teachers/education but still) and I graduated last May but haven’t done shit since. And btw I took almost a year off after leaving the other school and started again the next fall and took like one, maybe two classes, and then took one the following spring, and then took literally like almost 2 years off before I finally started getting serious and taking more classes in 2016 but even then I still only took like 2 or 3 classes at a time until the last semester when I took like 4. And also I could barely even do the homework and sometimes just plain didn’t yet there was literally absolutely zero freaking reason why I couldn’t considering I didn’t even work then. And there were legit people working full time jobs and/or raising kid(s)/families and everything and still going to school and I can barely even keep up with 3 classes and reading when I don’t do anything ever. And still don’t do anything except hang out with dogs for like 2-3 hours 2 times a week

You would be perfect at it.

Good to hear the feet look good.

Go to bed early!

how about setting a schedule, something like:
6am get up and exercise
7am eat and straighten up kitchen and do dishes
8 am walk the dog
9 am take care of chickens
10 am clean your room
11 am clean the living room, or bathroom
12 am lunch
1 pm walk the dog
2 pm to 4 pm work on a project.. like a garden, chicken brooder etc
5 pm supper
6 pm byc
7 pm yoga
8 pm shower and unwind
9 pm bed
Try getting up earlier every week by ahalf hour. Staying up late is bad for your health. If you get a job you have to get there on time... Now is the time to get in practice.Thanks. Not sure if I would want to do it for a living though. But I do like finding and reading and researching all sorts of stuff.
Thanks. That’s a good idea. I did manage to actually cook myself supper instead of just having more leftover pizza lol just scrambled eggs and sautéed spinach (cooked separately) but still. I normally don’t cook. Although I do make this particular one a lot lol
Thanks. I like that idea except I think that might be a bit too ambitious for me....and 6am is so early
that sounds similar to my brother and FSIL’s schedule though except that instead of all that middle stuff they work full time but they get up at 6 and go to sleep at 9 or 10ish too and I could never do that I don’t think LOL but I can try. Or maybe start with like 8. Or 9 maybe. Idk. I am used to 10:30, 11, and doing nothing so I gotta start slow or else I will wear myself out and make myself sick. Although maybe if I just throw myself into it, I might be fine after a few days. Idk. I think if I actually let myself go to sleep and heal/rest instead of overworking myself and then also staying up on the phone or TV then I might be fine. But sometimes I also genuinely get headaches and/or heatstroke and/or like physically sick from overworking myself. Pathetic, I know lol but I need to work on it.

Throw the phone out the window while you are driving on the freeway.Thanks. I think I am going to try that. And maybe go to bed a half hour earlier every week too ha I like that idea. And yea, having the dog walking/pet sitting gig is good for that but even that I am sometimes a bit late for it since it’s family and only 2 miles down the street so I leave the house too late etc. I am going to start trying to make myself be on time every single day and really planning/time management aka not sit on my phone or try to eat right before I leave, etc. although according to that article the phone/device addiction can literally cause planning and that stuff to get worse so it is a vicious cycle...![]()
Agree. Get a nice landline and chuck the smart phone. I don't have one and I don't need one. I have a flip for emergencies or setting up appointments, but it stays in the drawer all day.Throw the phone out the window while you are driving on the freeway.
Game over/problems almost solved.
