Refridgerated they last a long time like chicken eggs. Around here eggs don't last long. We eat them, cook some daily for the dogs and I send to cartons to family and a few elderly neighbors. I'm getting 15 to 19 duck eggs a day. Don't have enough space to store them so boil a bunch for the chickens twice a week...smash them and give shells and all. What is the basic shelf life of duck eggs? Like I have a bunch that are older that I just haven't gotten around to eating. I know fresh chicken eggs can last quite a while but I'm not quite sure about duck eggs. I'm thinking of scrambling up a bunch for the chickens and ducks.
Eggshells get dried in the oven and crushed for the garden.
