➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

.
Congratulations! Looks like you might have a trio!
The two with more white have round tips on the chest feathers...pullets. The redder one with some brown has pointed tips...cockerel.
I only have two. :)
The one with the fairly white spangled chest I believe is a pullet. The other, well, it has more black on the chest and the white part showing is just the crop poking out. The bird on the left in both photos. I've heard nothing negative about the Orloff roosters so I'd be thrilled if I had a pair.

I still don’t feel very full though. And I ate VERY slowly. Cause I’ve been on the phone. Didn’t even start eating till a bit ago.

Actually, just checked and according to the time stamps, I took those pics at 8:19 and 8:21 but I didn’t start eating it for like an hour and only just finished it a bit ago.
If you don't feel full, it's likely because your stomach is stretched out from binging on garbage. It will take a little time to shrink back down. That, or drink some water.

Trust me, by the time they're ready, you will be too.

Idk, I make pets of everything :lau one time my uncles neighbor brought a ham to a Christmas party and everyone said it was the best ham they ever had so I wanted to try a little tiny piece and snuck in later after the meal but I spat it out because it was his pig and earlier or maybe at another party they had shown pictures of him as a baby and he was the cutest little black and white piglet and they named him Kevin Bacon and I suddenly remembered that and couldn’t do it. And I had never even met the dang pig before!! Just seen a couple piglet pictures. Also I cried whenever any animals have died. My rabbit, my various fish (both goldfish and bettas), a bunch of parakeets, my last two dogs and my last cat, and when my favorite hen got taken by a hawk. I am a HUGE softie lol so I do not think I would be able to even if they were fighting and crowing. although actually maybe if they were hurting each other then I would be able to. Idk. I think with actual meat birds it might be easier because I would know they were destined to be meat birds and could try to distance myself and they are also butchered at a much younger age but I think if I got a batch of equally cute chicks and babied/loved on them all as if they were girls or pets and then a bunch turned out to be roosters, I would be devastated and I think way more attached that way because I would have no way of knowing which ones would be roos and treated them all the same. Idk. Maybe not. Guess I need to experience it to know for sure. But I would like to try meat birds eventually. Maybe one day. My parents think it is gross though and cruel so can’t really here lol I admit it is a bit gross with all the blood and guts and stuff.
