➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Lou is my old dobie (well, dobie mix). Rickety Cricket, the street rat is the little one. My best guess is he's just over a year or so. They love each other. Two peas in a pod.View attachment 1777298

Ah okay! Ben must be one of the other ones then! Sorry! :oops: but awwwww that is adorable!! So glad they are getting along so well!! And one is a good age :) not an obnoxious little puppy anymore but not too old and slow yet ha

He's Texas Street right?
Sure is. All the way from Hidalgo county. He was a scrawny little bag of bones when he arrived. That was after putting weight on for a couple weeks with the folks that pulled him from PVAC. He's got a bigass burn scar on his jaw, and is pretty wary of humans. It takes him forever to warm up to people. Like, MONTHS. He's a normal dog around us, but chooses to steer clear of people that he doesn't know. Not sure if he'll ever be much of a "people" dog.

I think you should get a carrot top weave.
:th:eek::th:lau

I moved all the baby chicks around like I planned.
Decided to mow the yard and garden and then mowed the weeds around the barn and farm equipment instead of setting out my veggies. :th
Temperature hit 91 degrees and I got a sunburn!

Should be cooler tomorrow. I can run the weed wacker /edger and then set out my plants. Then rain Friday night and storms Saturday and again Monday and Tuesday.

Wanna join the carrot top weave club? You could match your hair to your sunburn!

please remember smoke alarms one in each bedroom and in the common area at least 10 feet from a range and on the ceiling or within 12" of the ceiling on walls. Also a 5lb class abc extinguisher and a class k wet chemical extinguisher for the kitchen. It appears like you're a ways from "town" be proactive.
Thanks sdm. The smoke detectors are installed (hardwired with battery backup). Extinguishers are on the list to get before we move in.

Hey guys, long time no see! :oops:
I know I’m a total butthead for not checking in. Sowwee.

Um, I had like 30 alerts when I logged in but now it’s only showing me 4. I suppose I missed a lot heh heh.

Is everyone good? Alive? Healthy?
