Was it good? Seems like it would be kind of small in that thing? Seems very convenient though ha

I have an egg steamer from my mom. They work great. It has a poaching try that has never been used. Sometime around mothers day and winter holidays they are on sale locally.I forgot that we bought this gadget called Egg Dash or something. Rapid egg cooker. We probably bought it at Walmart or Kroger or something. It basically has a hot plate that you pour water on. A little tray that goes on top of it that holds 6 eggs and a top goes over. It has a point that you use to pierce a hole in the biggest tip of the egg. The hole stays upright and the more narrow end goes in the holder. Then it steams them to make hard boiled eggs. Depending on how much water you put in you can adjust how boiled you want the egg. I decided to try it with duck eggs since a while back Conan mentioned how she steams duck eggs. It will only hold 3 duck eggs because they are so much bigger. It works nicely! They aren't rubbery or taste funny from being over boiled or anything. The only problem I had was that on my duck eggs, it's difficult to tell which end is bigger and which end is more narrow. It pretty much looks like an oval to me lol. You can't do a whole bunch at one time but it works for me. I am happy.![]()

We used 2 eggs. You couldn't do more than that or it will overflow. If you add extra stuff, maybe be careful. We didn't have any shredded cheese or bacon bits or any other good stuff. My son wants mushrooms and spinach to try. I need to go grocery shopping, which is what I am about to do here in just a few lol. May have to do a single egg instead of 2. Idk. I'll letcha know how it turns out with stuff added in.
Our wild geese pair don’t eat anything we throw them. The male likes to charge us but he quickly learned that we don’t back off either.Hanging out with the birds this morning in the quail pen. I go out and feed the ducks, while they are eating I have to fend off the wild geese. When my quackers waddle away I let the honkers in to finish the plate. I sit in the quail pen and just loiter with all the birdies around me. Once the quail settle down it is fun to just enjoy them being quail. I have one pure white, one white with gray head and one white with black on its head and some on its back. Lots of different patterns and colors. They only eat the duck kibble. I tried tossing diced cherry tomatoes and berries but they had no interest. The ducks didn't either. These guys stand there and hiss at me, sometimes I hiss back. LOL It is kinda cute with the baby learning how to hiss. Our wild geese pair don’t eat anything we throw them. The male likes to charge us but he quickly learned that we don’t back off either.![]()
I loved it when my goose was just learning how to hiss. She would do it to the dogs every time they walked past her. They only eat the duck kibble.
