Water fleas? Oooo a thrill a minute I'm sure!
I hope that everything goes smoothly for all of you tomorrow! Are you excited?
I’m excited (kind of terrified) but goodness this drive is going to be such a beat down every day. :( I wish I had one week to get settled into the house then start working, but I have to start Monday and it’s non-stop until August 3rd from there.

It'll fly by. So, you get a bit of time off before back to school in August?

Aw I’m sorry. I’m sure you’ll get used to it though!

One summer. You'll smoke through it in no time. No more landlords! Such a freeing feeling.

We're finally now getting some warmer temps. Very little rain, resulting in some pretty big wildfires north of us.
What fruit are you growing?
No garden again this year for me :( too much to do with the house.
No rain here either. There's no snow pack on the mountains either. Going to be a rough fire year.
Apples, plums, cherries, Asian pears. Those are the trees. I have a ton of blueberries, and an onslaught of raspberries. The golden raspberries are my favorites and are a highly prolific everbearing variety. Adding in some elderberries, and hoping for a some hardy kiwi action.
Lost a couple plums this year. Part of the reason that I'm moving the chickens to the orchard. Clean up them bugs, ladies!
I don't blame you. I'd be itching to be settled before messing with a garden.

Ohhhh that all sounds sooo yummy.
I love fresh fruit.
I planted honeyberry (haskap) 2 years ago, but they're still too small to bear anything. I've got acres of wild raspberries and Saskatoon berries. Hopefully I'll have time to harvest some this year.

Ooooh, honeyberry! I've heard lovely things. You'll have to tell me how they are. I have no idea what a Saskatoon berry is. Must google. Wild raspberries sound delightful.

Saskatoons sound awesome. You'll have to make pie.
