➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I used spinach instead of kale.

I'm still trying to catch up.

I was gonna use both. Bought kale and already had spinach and also bought some carrots to put in it but now I’m not making it haha

I just made it.
I cook early so that way the Mex can take some to work with him. He works nights.

Ahh okay. That makes sense then.

I used spinach instead of kale because that's what I had.
I actuay timed how long it took...start to finish just for you.
And it probably took a few minutes longer because I had the mini peeling the sweet potatoes.
He is slow.

30 minutes total.

Thank you. This is really helpful. Love the pictures. So cute haha love that he helps :love

My dad helped peel the potatoes and also helped with the chicken cause I was so slow at it and some was already cooking haha

But I did cook the chicken and get it almost done and also did toast the almonds beforehand but didn’t get to finish cooking the chicken or put the potatoes or kale or spinach or anything in cause something came up but maybe tomorrow haha

This little magazine came in the mail from my grocery store.
I tried to stick to the recipe but if I make it again I will add more stuff to it.
Apples sounds good.

That’s a good idea. Stick to it and see if you like it first haha it looks good.

And yeah I think apples would be good haha

I'm like this too.

I think I will be too. I already kinda am. Always throw stuff together/come up with ideas as I go haha

I posted this one just for you because it is very simple.
You should try it.

Thank you, I really appreciate it. I really do. And I was planning on trying it. Was super excited to try it actually. Went and bought all the ingredients and started cooking it, was happily cooking away, but I had to leave unfortunately. So I guess I’ll finish it tomorrow.

The one I made tonight looks a bit like it. Mine is Chinese inspired, though. Chicken, garlic, onion, carrot, celery, peas, red and green cabbage, water chestnuts, and the cute little baby corns. Simple sauce of chicken broth and soy sauce, thickened with cornstarch. Served over brown rice.

Y'all are so fancy. That's really beautiful and probably delish. I made spaghetti with sauce from the jar. Judge away.
