Adjust your dew rag. You aren’t wearing it right.

Worse is when sweat drips onto your glasses while looking down and rolls right into the sweet (sweat) spot of your trifocals. Then, when you almost had it, put everything down to clean your glasses, wipe the sweat from your eyeballs, adjust the dew rag & start aligning everything again. This process can take anywhere between 1 and 6 beers. Then they want to know what is taking so long.

Aye aye captain. I can already chug the beers, but I'll have to work on my dew rag to get it adjusted right. ;)

AND... I'm done! :woot Caught up! And yes I was fully aware that I was ultimately conversing with myself this entire time. Just had to comment on those posts so you'd all know how much I appreciated the entertainment, even if I did come in way behind everyone else. GOOD NIGHT!

I guess I wonder if I do something without realizing it that makes people overestimate me :hmm
My 6th grade teacher didn't overestimate me though, she told other kids in the class that I was mentally retarded.
Man, what a kind and caring teacher. :hmm
For some reason, I've found that people automatically expect more and greater things from you if you explain problems by using scientific terminology and complete sentences. Use contractions, lots of sentence fragments, gesticulate to add to answers, and don't necessarily select the most precise word to add to a sentence if a simpler set of words will do. It helps take some of the pressure off.

My parents had a saying when I was a kid. "Let me know when you're done hugging that cactus." It means that at some point, you have to let go of past hurts. Yes, it is a horrible teacher who would say such a thing. But, you'll never get an apology from that person. So, what do you do now with that memory? How it affects you today is about you, not them.

I could go back through and pick out the bits of what you've said that are clues about your intelligence but I don't want to spend my time on that. Success is not determined by intelligence, anyway. It's a combination of motivation and opportunity.

You still have opportunities that people are actively pushing you toward. At some point, those people will grow weary of trying to help someone who rejects their efforts. You can either wait for that to happen so you can transfer the blame to them or you can recognize that the opportunities in front of you have value and drag up some motivation from deep down somewhere.

Again, it's up to you.

Hm that’s a good idea

That’s true ha I thought it was funny. Actually, I thought he was replying to the Queen video posted :lau

@CarpCharacin Look... this is all I will say. You love fish, you love research, biological sciences, computer sciences. Do some research on the different parts of the world. Create a spreadsheet to keep track of which fish AND plants go where. Decide on one region. Create a biotope. Make this aquarium immaculate. Something to be super proud of. For said research do not just confine yourself to your room and the computer. Go to the library and also seek out the assistance of experts in that area. I'm sure there are aquarists or fish societies with people who live in areas surrounding you. Network these people. See if something comes of it. It's a passion of yours so embrace it. The end.
