➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Yes...spoilers from now on.
I haven't seen what you posted yet.
I'm trying to catch up but I just spent the night atva place that had the ghettoist internet possible.
The few times I was able to view this site (for seconds atca time) if there was a pic on the page it wouldn't load.

Now I actually understand sucky internet.
Welcome to my world :barnie
One time the internet was out from before Thanksgiving until just after ground hog day :th:rant
I had to go to town and use the library computer.
The phones were out too. Wires were bad and cell tower was down. Had to drive a mile to get a cell signal

Beautiful! The colours are always so stunning to me! And those long elegant feathers.. your roosters are works of art.

You’re fine Dog, just try to choose one photo per subject. If in doubt I just use a spoiler.
:thumbsup
Love those purple tubs and the water bottles. That one actually is different from the intestines one, reminds me of a coral reef.

Thank you!! I’ll try to do that next time haha

And thank you!! I do too! I thought they’d be better than just the usual clear or black ones haha didn’t want clear cause I figured it kinda defeats the purpose of putting the stuff in bins if you can see the stuff haha and didn’t want the usual ugly/manly black ones or whatever. And definitely not scented (they apparently have scented bins now!?) cause it would give me a migraine. Saw these and instantly knew they’d be perfect! Figured I can at least have pretty bins if I’m gonna be organizing anyway. :lau

And now that you mention it it does! I should have gotten it or the bird one. I love the bird one. At least I think it’s a bird? Not really sure haha

Kiki had to go babysit her mother's moo cows for a day.
Her internet is horrible.

Awesome!! Love the pics. Looks like a nice place and looks like you had a good time at least. Or at least the mini looks like he did haha speaking of which, is the mini driving!? :th

Zero cell service out at my mom's.
We are forced to take internet breaks when we go there.
:barnie

The few times I was actually able to get the site to open it would take like 20 minutes to post a message.
I am not exaggerating either.

Even when you change the channel on the TV it takes like 5 seconds for the channel to change. The cable sucks too.

There's not very many people that live in her area So I don't think there's any hope that they'll get real internet anytime soon.

I almost let the Mini do the gas and break too but we both chickened out.
We went on a few drives with him "driving" on my lap.

Probably better!! Haha maybe when he gets a little older and taller :lau

I thought he was really driving lol

Oh wow that is awful! I can’t even imagine! :th

Our internet occasionally gets slow but nothing like that.

That said I’ve been thinking of locking my phone away and forcing myself to go to the library (only like a few miles away/down the street, really close) to use the internet/computer. Might get more done. :lau

I'm pretty sure he will be real practice driving by next year.

That sounds dreadful! LOL but then again the place looks fun enough it might be good to take a break haha looks like a lot of fun.

Time for a new registration sticker.

:D

Talented and humble, Mr. Buddy Guy Sam!?

Not yet! It says 9 not 8 I think. :p

I definitely need a new one though. Mine expires this month. Wait. Shit. I still haven’t done that yet. Meant to a few weeks ago when I noticed it. ****.

My family owns a heating company. My dad is an engineer that created a one of a kind wall mounted heater.
We don’t use the central heat, we use our heaters. They cost next to nothing to run and they’re 100% pet/child safe. Makes up for the fortune we spend on AC in summer.

I got several sympathetic looks from people with umbrellas.
I HAVE an umbrella.. waiting for me in my nice dry car.
Hmmmmm...what kind of wall heater?

Hubby bought some “ultra durable” dog toys yesterday.
Theia rates them 10/10.

Theia's face says "They just exploded!".
Lily does the same thing, even destroyed two dog beds and a blanket before she matured.

Triumph is home but he isn’t happy. Standing around and whining, won’t settle, making my heart hurt.

The vet decided after all of the preliminary testing for his dental work that he isn’t okay to take NSAIDS long term after all.
He’s on a trial run of tramadol until further notice. Kind of frustrating.
No, but he did need a filling on a canine that had worn down.
He’s finally sleeping now. He starts whining every time he wakes up. I’m not sure if he’s in pain or just disoriented.
Could the Tramadol be causing his confusion? SIL was hallucinating on it....can't take it.

I use my pressure cooker OFTEN. I use my Crock-Pot very, very rarely. Well, for one, it's too small. I have teenage boys, I don't cook a 2# roast, ya know? Plus, leaving a small appliance running all day makes me super paranoid. So, yeah, it's not my thing and there isn't much it can do that I can't do in less time with the pressure cooker. Oh, and the oven can do the slow cooker mode so when I want to make slow roasted meat, it just goes in there.

I have a regular stove top pressure cooker. Kuhn Rikon. It wasn't cheap but I bought it open box return on Amazon and I use the thing enough that I decided having a better quality pot was worth the $. It is a lot easier to not burn things like beans than the cheapie it replaced and this one actually has replacement parts available so you don't have to throw it in the trash when a seal goes bad.
Love both my pressure cooker and my slow cooker. I actually have 3 different sizes of pressure cooker/canners and 2 pressure cookers.

Nana I can't tell for sure but do I see Rhodesian ridgebacks?
Yes. Ruby Rose (5.5 years old) is full blood RR with a ridge and Lily is a ridge less Ridgeback (1.5 years old). We adopted Ruby when she was 4 and got Lily as a 3 month old pup.

Hey Nana, have you seen this before?

I know it’s kinda silly but it’s so ingenious, I’ve always wanted to try it. :D
I see that your bull’s dressing is stitched on, but if you ever need an eye patch down the road... hehe.

Love your beautiful animals, thank you for the update.

Farthest north I’ve ever been is Alaska. Farthest south is Australia. I don’t keep much more track than that.
Yes. Someone sent us that on Facebook a while back. Creative. I also got a pattern for crochet ear covers for a calf :lau.

Reminds me of a scene in Art of Racing In The Rain when the dog claimed the zebra destroyed all the toys LOL

Oh wow that’s a lot of pressure cookers!! You must love them. I will probably eventually get more or maybe other devices but for now just the one. Got the 6 qt size.

Aww they’re adorable!!

And OMG the crochet ears would be so cute!!

And you seem like you are finally almost all caught up! :D :celebrate
