I can't think of the name of it.
I think The two authors had the same first name but spelled different and they wrote three books.
It's in one of those books where they talk about names.

Yes, many different kinds of blood tests. Heartworm tests are blood tests but they’re very fast and easy.
CBC’s are pretty standard but I’ve never been to a clinic that did them routinely unless you asked. I’m sure there are some that do though.
Chemistry panels are done to “take a look under the hood,” for example kidney and liver function before putting an animal through anesthesia.

Yes, if you told your vet that Luna is indoor then there is no reason that they would ask about heartworm tests or prevention. Heartworms are transferred by mosquitos and indoor pets are not usually screened.
