Yes, many different kinds of blood tests. Heartworm tests are blood tests but they’re very fast and easy.
CBC’s are pretty standard but I’ve never been to a clinic that did them routinely unless you asked. I’m sure there are some that do though.
Chemistry panels are done to “take a look under the hood,” for example kidney and liver function before putting an animal through anesthesia.

Yes, if you told your vet that Luna is indoor then there is no reason that they would ask about heartworm tests or prevention. Heartworms are transferred by mosquitos and indoor pets are not usually screened.

my dad lets her out. I wish he wouldn’t but she does seem happier. Idk. But I should probably have her on some sort of prevention. Didn’t really think of it at the time cause we were still trying to keep her in, it wasn’t regular, so didn’t think of it. But also I’m kinda nervous to tell vets she sometimes goes out cause sometimes they get all weird about it. But it’s probably better for her to be on medicine or kept strictly indoors. But I think that’s impossible with my dad around
