Its def weird and if anybody wants to come try them *cough* Mr Sam only one i know close enough *cough* my DH has been very clear he will Not eat black chicken  i think the teen will just for the bragging rights  so its mostly on me and maybe i can convince the toddlers?

I also think my Hona is meater than that Cemani. This is the first one i did and he had Alot of white leakage so i was surprised his meat was black. Always knew this is a trait they have but hadnt ever seen it first hand.
good morning thanks for the offer and i really really would but umm wellll you know i kinda just don't want to. I mean i bet its reallly good but i kinda stand with you husband on this one lol.

I’m hoping next semester they’ll have that Poultry Diseases class available again
There's your line. You walk in and say, "I was wondering when the poultry diseases class would be offered next? I'm very interested in poultry science and want to be sure to get in that class." Maybe it starts something great, maybe you just get an answer (that you wanted anyway!) Easy peasy.

I used to work a marketing job where I had to waltz into places uninvited all the time. You get used to it like you get used to performing on stage. It's never comfortable but eventually you learn that nothing awful actually happens. And sometimes it's even fun. I once opened a door to find a group of people standing around drinking beer and eating mixed nuts. It was 4PM on a Thursday. I forgot all about why I was there and asked about getting a job there instead.
Thank you for the advice!
But to be honest... if I had to intern anywhere, it would not be in the poultry science department.

Just out of curiosity, why? Is it a bad program or something?

That would be amazing. :love
She probably doesn't want to specialize in chickens when she grows up.
Doesn't want to waste precious time working some where that won't help her.

Yes. This exactly.
I like chickens and all, but it’s not why I’m going to vet school.
I know.. sacrilegious.

My first choice would be a paid vet tech position. Unless a better opportunity opens up, that’s what I’m going for.
But I know that my parasitology professor does a lot of work in the lab with ticks. A summer internship with him would be pretty neat and it would look nice on an application.
