➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I have to not-so-humble brag for just a moment.. I made a freaking 95.5% on my biochemistry test.
I’m so happy. :celebrate I was absolutely not expecting that.
:bun :bun :bun
I think you should buy a gallon of Arizona tea to celebrate with tonight.

:celebrate

Don’t knock it until you try it. Depends on who makes it too.

What do you eat on a pig?
Everything but the squeal.

Kids would ask for hot dogs :sick
Yep, butt holes & lips & a little of everything in between.
Everyone loves hot dogs.

Ehhh still sounds nasty lol sounds kind of like the fruit cake of meat. :sick

Hot dogs are gross too though tbh lol

Ew.. no thanks. I’ve seen how the sausage gets made.
I can tolerate a quality beef dog though.

Yeah, once I learned how it was made, it was all over lol nasty!!! Plus hot dogs and sausages and bacon and all that crap makes me sick anyway unless I buy the special/really good/expensive kind without nitrates. Gives me a migraine otherwise.

I do like beef ones though.

Not being critical, just curious. I have an account, but don't really use it for more than looking at pictures that my friends and relatives post.

Tbh a lot of kids now don’t use it. Probably most. Even I and other people my age barely use it now. Started when the all the old people took it over. :p

thats ok turk. Believe it or not theres people out there that dont like hogs head cheese either. There loss huh
I learned to make hog's head cheese like my mother-in-law did...pressure cooking a whole head. She loved the jowl and ears. It was okay.
Now I use a roasted pork shoulder instead. Made and spiced correctly you have a nice sandwich slice.
I never use vinegar! Don't like the taste of hogheadsause.

What is hogs head cheese? A brand or a type of cheese? Cause I know around here we have a brand of cheese and lunch meats called Boars Head.. is that the same thing?? Just wondering cause I didn’t know if maybe you just called it something else down there or if it was something else entirely haha
Does it smell bad or something??? Why :sick ??

Mine does not smell bad. I trim out the fat and shred the roasted pork shoulder. I mix in salt, pepper, finely chopped onion and bell pepper and a touch of sage and garlic. I use the broth from the cooked pork as the binder. Mix this all together and press into square refrigerator containers. Once the juices gel, you slice it and either eat it cold or heat in a skillet.

EWWWWWW OMG!!! That is so NASTY!! Who would ever want to eat that!?!?!? :sick:sick:sick:sick:sick
Husband's family grew up butchering their own hogs, rendered the lard for soap, smoked cuts of meat and made head cheese from the salvageable parts. Chickens and dog got the rest except the skins were tanned.

Hubby and I have a joint account. His friends have exploded it into a political mayhem.
I'm taking myself off the joint page soon.
