I just wanted to share a proud momma moment. My daughter works in small sales for a water park here. She was notified by her boss a while back that they nominated her for Sales Rep of the year and was told, unofficially, that she got it. Of course she was excited and proud that her hard work was recognized and paid off. Well... she was officially told today that she got it and they were going to send out a notice/email to everyone. Yay right? But wait.. there's more! Not only did she get Sales Rep of the year for her LOCAL facility... she got NATIONAL Sales Rep of the Year, which includes all 12 of their facilities that are throughout the U.S.! I'm so very happy for her and a very proud mom.

This is wonderful! You have every reason to be proud of your daughter. And she has accomplished something not many young employees do...just shows how much her boss thinks of her!

If I remember making pickled quail eggs ... it takes 47 Corturnix quail eggs per pint jar.
They do make cute deviled eggs too.


Check with your local high school Ag instructor. See if there are any students who could help you with the fencing. Perhaps there is a student who needs a goat for a class show project....and a trade for services could be made.

Those were smaller eggs im sure but maybe your off too. I think it took me around 30 in the past, stuffing them in there. These are huge for quail eggs im betting it barely takes 24 of these.

Yay, loom potholders may be my next winter project! I just finished a holiday afghan and have been looking for something new to work on!
