It wouldn't hurt any of my animals because it wouldn't be coming inside. It could live in the shed and be an outdoor cat better than it living in the storm drains.

I bring all the animals here to the vet whether it's outside and a stray or my pet.

The only predator that has ever gotten past the dogs is the air predators. Everything that is on the ground they will tear right up or chase off.

I don't think I ever shared the story about the feral cat that we had here... We had a feral cat or a stray cat that somebody ditched and I guess we had a family of moles living at our house. The cat shred them completely and left their skins and fur all over my yard. It looked like a horror movie on my lawn.

Yeah Gator was never very good about aerial predators either.

No we still try every weekend, but people have been setting traps to catch them. We have several cats in the woods already, they're not mine and I don't know where they come from.

There's an old abandoned house almost next door to us but there is a big field separating us, I think a lot of them are coming from there.

My parents live in a development and I think that people just dump their cats over there. People are cruel that's all I know.

When I had my first flock five years ago there was a stray cat that used to always watch them. The chickens would even come and lay next to it and the thing never bothered them. It just loved watching them.

I'm hoping to make a little dog house, but for the stray cats to live in. Plus use it if we ever have a stray dog come through until animal control can pick it up. They won't take cats though because cats are allowed to free range here.

Yeah I know but I don’t know for sure that it was a hawk. Just that my mom saw it hanging around and it kept coming back/wouldn’t leave. Could have been anything though. But he still had his head.

And wait like his body heat or? It’s not hot here. Pretty cold. Well, 40ish and it was this morning & in the shade.
