All the feed stores have their chick calendars in! :D :celebrate

I checked my usual one (never actually buy any but the one I usually go to) but then decided to check some others just for kicks and HOLY MOLY! Look how many different breeds this one has and how long their chick season is! :eek: :th

Thankfully it’s pretty far from me lol

This one has quite a few breeds too AND DUCKS. The other one has ducks too. Sooooo many in fact.

There’s a few other feed stores around too but idk if they carry chicks or not. If so, they don’t have them on the website. And no idea what TSC will have or when they get them.

But I think I need to stay far, far away from the feed stores this year.... :lau

But it honestly might be worth cancelling my chick order and getting ducks instead. :lau

Kidding of course. Sort of. Know you guys had talked me out of them but maybe I could buy chicks in person instead of ducks.

:lau no. It’s been insanely windy all day and we are surrounded by giant pine trees.

I think it’s finally starting to die down though, or at least temporarily, so I might go walk around. Or at least to the end of the driveway (our driveway is really long) and get some fresh air.

I went outside earlier but this house is really hot cause they have the heat cranked up and I’m feeling kind of sick so think I’ll go outside again.

I almost died last time I went out. :lau

Okay not really but some VERY strong gusts came through when I was checking the chickens and it was so scary especially since their coops are right next to/under the huge trees.

But I managed to get them all fed and watered and collected the eggs.

Though I did run away from the trees towards the middle of the yard when the gusts came through.
